Rehab exercise for injury (kick to lateral LH distal cannon)
Any suggestions on rehab exercise for an injury (kick to lateral LH distal cannon). Swelling diminishing with residual warm areas medial/lateral of distal cannon anterior to suspensory ligament. Owner has been hand walking and wrapping at night with poultice. Should she be doing short periods of hand walking or stall rest only. Vet has examined-no noted problems with cannon bone or tearing/laceration of tendon/ligaments.
